Volleyball Recap: Rock Falls Takes a Loss

Rock Falls was the 2-0 winner over Eastland when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Rock Falls Rockets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastland Cougars on Saturday.

Kayla Hackbarth paced Rock Falls' offense, picking up three kills. Hackbarth got some help from Miley Bickett and her seven assists.

Rock Falls now has a losing record at 14-15. As for Eastland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-9.

Rock Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Orangeville on the 19th. Eastland has also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Riverdale on the 19th.
