Soccer Recap: Waterford Takes a Loss

Waterford lost against Delhi back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waterford Wildcats came up short against the Delhi Hawks, falling 4-1. One reason for the loss might be the Wildcats' aggressive play style: three Waterford players were handed yellow cards.

Their goal came courtesy of Andrew Del Toro, who's now up to three this season.

Waterford now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Delhi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6-6 record this season.

Waterford didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Gustine on the 5th. As for Delhi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Stone Ridge Christian on the 5th.
