Football Recap: Section Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Section had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it four. They had to suffer through a 45-7 loss at the hands of the Pleasant Valley Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 38-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Pleasant Valley, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won eight games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Braxton Salster produced another solid performance rushing for 66 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two). Cooper Dougal was another key player, picking up 65 receiving yards and one TD.

Coming up, Section will challenge Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
