South Medford has gone 10-0 against Roseburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The South Medford Panthers will face off against the Roseburg Indians at 6:45 p.m. South Medford has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Friday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, South Medford made off with a 48-47 win over South Eugene. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Axe are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Roseburg came up short against Sheldon on Thursday, falling 71-46.

South Medford's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Roseburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

South Medford was able to grind out a solid victory over Roseburg in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 88-78. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Medford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
