Soccer Recap: Monarch Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Monarch's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let the Taravella Trojans onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Monarch has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matches. As for Taravella, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Monarch didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Somerset Prep on the 9th. Taravella has also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Coral Springs on the 9th.
