Basketball Recap: Summit Academy Takes a Loss

If Summit Academy was riding high fresh off their 71-18 takedown of Romulus on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons fell 67-55 to the Eastpointe Shamrocks on Wednesday.

Summit Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastpointe, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Summit Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pershing at 8:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Eastpointe, they will face off against New Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
