Soccer Recap: York Institute Comes Up Short

York Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Smith County Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Smith County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

York Institute's goal came courtesy of Jameson Wright, who's now up to 15 this season.

York Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-2. As for Smith County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10-1.

York Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Smith County, they will face off against Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
