Softball Recap: Lakeville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Houghton on Saturday, Lakeville came back down to earth. Lakeville fell just short of the Cass City Red Hawks by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Red Hawks when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakeville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cass City, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Lakeville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mt. Morris at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. This will be Lakeville's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Cass City, they will square off against Ubly at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
