Baseball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss

South Garner was the 5-0 winner over Rolesville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The South Garner Titans lost 15-5 to the Rolesville Rams on Saturday.

Henny Mejia was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Rogers, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rolesville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, South Garner will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against American Leadership Academy-Johnston at 4:30 p.m. American Leadership Academy-Johnston will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something South Garner surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rolesville, they will challenge Corinth Holders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
