Basketball Recap: Tabiona Victorious

Tabiona lost to Manila two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Tabiona Tigers walked away with a 48-40 win over the Manila Mustangs.

Manila's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ruthanna Wilson, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Wilson a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kallie Bair, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Tabiona's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Manila, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Tabiona has already played their next matchup, a 37-29 loss against Rich on the 15th. As for Manila, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-48 defeat against Wendover on the 15th.
