Volleyball Game Preview: The Covenant School Eagles vs. Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins

The Covenant School Eagles will take on the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cape Henry Collegiate took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on The Covenant School, who comes in off a win.

The Covenant School won the last time they faced Collegiate and Kalley Mcnish did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Cougars 3-2 with plenty of help from Mcnish, who had 15 digs and six aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

The Covenant School was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Cape Henry Collegiate came up short against Norfolk Academy on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Cape Henry Collegiate has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for The Covenant School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.
