Preview: Anderson Raptors vs. Little Miami Panthers
Anderson is 0-5 against Little Miami since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Anderson Raptors will be staying on the road to face off against the Little Miami Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Monday, Anderson had to suffer through a rough 62-29 loss at the hands of Milford. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Anderson in their matchups with Milford: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Little Miami came up short against Turpin on Thursday and fell 51-44. While losing is never fun, Little Miami can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while Turpin is ranked 245th).
Anderson's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Little Miami, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Anderson came up short against Little Miami in their previous matchup back in November, falling 55-48. Can Anderson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
