If Goldendale was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of White Swan on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Timberwolves lost 3-0 to the La Salle Lightning on Thursday. The Timberwolves' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Goldendale's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Goldendale will challenge rival Highland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, La Salle is set to take on their familiar foe Cle Elum-Roslyn at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
