Point Pleasant came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Lincoln County, but Eli Smith wouldn't allow it. The Lincoln County Panthers strolled past the Point Pleasant Big Blacks with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-42 thanks in part to Smith, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Point Pleasant lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Talan Pearson, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landyn Keefer, who put up nine points and five boards.

Lincoln County picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-14. As for Point Pleasant, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Lincoln County has already played their next contest, a 60-49 defeat against Tolsia on the 22nd. Point Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
