Monroe came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mount Horeb Vikings, falling 10-3. The Cheesemakers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Monroe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Hale, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Mount Horeb, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Monroe nor Mount Horeb have any future games scheduled.
