Hamilton faced Millennium in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Huskies walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Hamilton was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-10, 22-25, 25-23.

Mikayla Haner paced Hamilton's offense, picking up 19 kills. Haner got some help from Hailey Johnston and her 30 assists. Johnston was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hamilton has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. As for Millennium, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-16 record this season.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Basha on the 21st. As for Millennium, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mountain Ridge on the 21st.
