Volleyball Recap: Sprayberry Find Success

Sprayberry posted their closest win since August 24, 2024 on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the North Murray Mountaineers 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sprayberry got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-27, 15-7.

The victory got Sprayberry back to even at 1-1. As for North Murray, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Sprayberry is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Pebblebrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Murray, they will challenge Gordon Lee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
