Softball Recap: Palm Bay Pirates vs. Titusville Terriers
Palm Bay extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 1-13 in the process. They lost 18-3 to the Titusville Terriers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Terriers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-1 last Tuesday.
Hannah Crespo was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
As for Titusville, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
On Titusville's side, Makylie Taylor was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and four runs. That's the most stolen bases Taylor has posted since back in February.
As of now, neither Palm Bay nor Titusville have any future games scheduled.
