New Diana is a perfect 9-0 against Jefferson since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The New Diana Eagles will be playing at home against the Jefferson Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. New Diana is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

New Diana's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Daingerfield as New Diana made off with a 6-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Jefferson beat Harmony 9-5 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Maddie Clark made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. Clark was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddie Cooner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Tenazia Alexander, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Jefferson now has a winning record of 8-7. As for New Diana, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6-1.

New Diana took their win against Jefferson in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 16-5. Does New Diana have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jefferson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
