Baseball Game Preview: Danville Warriors vs. South Vermillion Wildcats

For the second straight game, Danville will face off against South Vermillion. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday, Danville was able to grind out a solid victory over South Vermillion, taking the game 6-2. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Danville's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Warner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. The Warriors are undefeated when Warner posts two or more runs, but 5-11 otherwise. Evan Dure was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI.

South Vermillion's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Danville, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
