Marion posted their closest victory since May 3, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 2-0. The two-run effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Marion and bumps their season record up to 11-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.

Marion has already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against Glenwood on the 19th. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Altamont on the 21st.
