Football Recap: Walker Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Walker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-7 loss at the hands of the Landmark Christian War Eagles. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-0.

Despite the loss, Walker still got an impressive performance from Christian Barjon, who rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 60 receiving yards. Barjon showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 61 yards.

Walker didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tamosa Okundaye and Maxime Lee.

Walker's record is now 2-6. As for Landmark Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Walker and Landmark Christian will both be playing Whitefield Academy the next time they take the field. The War Eagles will head out to face the WolfPack at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wolverines will host them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
