Recap: Adrian Matadors vs. Hartley Tigers
The Adrian Matadors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 70-41 victory over Hartley at home. The victory was just what Adrian needed coming off of a 85-28 loss in their prior match.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emmanuel Saldivar, who scored eight points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jesus Quevedo, who scored ten points.
Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Hartley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Adrian will head out on the road to face off against Pringle-Morse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hartley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Channing at 7:30 p.m. Channing comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
