Baseball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.71 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frenship Tigers. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Midland's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Frenship, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Frenship beat Midland by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
