Softball Recap: Trinity Episcopal Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Trinity Episcopal's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost three in a row.

Trinity Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

When Trinity Episcopal and Nansemond-Suffolk Academy next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Titans will square off against St. Catherine's and their nine-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will try to stop Peninsula Catholic's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Saints 2.9, the Knights 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
