Football Recap: Archbishop Shaw Takes Down Ranked Lafayette Christian Academy

Archbishop Shaw faced Lafayette Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 31-13 win over the Knights. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Although Lafayette Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Jace Babineaux and Caiden Bellard.

The victory got Archbishop Shaw back to even at 2-2. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Archbishop Shaw will face off against De La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
