Softball Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Westwood's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Red Mountain Mountain Lions on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Red Mountain, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1.

Westwood has already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Shadow Ridge on the 4th. As for Red Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Kofa on the 4th.
