Football Recap: Southmoore Skates Past Eisenhower with Ease

Southmoore never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Eisenhower Eagles, posting a 48-0 win. The SaberCats' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

The victory was the third in a row for Southmoore, bringing their record up to 4-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42 points. As for Eisenhower, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southmoore will take on rival Choctaw at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, Eisenhower is set to challenge their familiar foe Putnam City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
