Grand Ledge won the last time they faced Holt and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Comets put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Grand Ledge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-16.

Allison Scanlon paced Grand Ledge's offense, picking up 14 kills. Scanlon got some help from Addison Cornman and her 40 assists. Cornman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Grand Ledge back to even at 8-8-1. As for Holt, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grand Ledge is set to square off against their familiar foe Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holt will challenge rival Everett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
