Volleyball Recap: Central Dauphin East Comes Up Short

After flying high against William Penn on Monday, Central Dauphin East came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Carlisle Thundering Herd on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Thundering Herd recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Central Dauphin East was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-14.

Central Dauphin East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Carlisle, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Central Dauphin East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Steelton-Highspire on the 15th. Carlisle has also already played their next matchup (against Waynesboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
