Preview: Regina vs. Divine Child Falcons
Regina is on a four-game streak of home losses, Divine Child a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Regina will take on the Divine Child Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Regina came up short against Marian and fell 43-36. While losing is never fun, Regina can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Marian is ranked 122nd).
Divine Child suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 47-22 loss at the hands of Marian.
Regina's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Divine Child, they have fallen quite a ways from their 17-7 record last season and are now at 1-11.
Regina strolled past Divine Child in their previous matchup on January 5th by a score of 49-34. Does Regina have another victory up their sleeve, or will Divine Child turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
