Volleyball Recap: Maranatha Christian Comes Up Short

Maranatha Christian lost against Pacific Ridge back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Firebirds, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

Presley Gibson paced Maranatha Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Gibson got some help from Quinn Kaechele and her 27 assists. Ellaina Lindberg controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Maranatha Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Pacific Ridge, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Maranatha Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Bishop's on the 14th. As for Pacific Ridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Francis Parker on the 10th.
