Southwest EC entered their tilt with Imperial on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Isaiah Aguilera, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Anthony McFarland, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Southwest EC was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Southwest EC's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Imperial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
