Basketball Game Preview: Bonham Warriors vs. North Lamar Panthers

Bonham is 0-3 against North Lamar since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bonham Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Lamar Panthers at 6:45 p.m.

On Saturday, Bonham took a blow against Pleasant Grove, falling 74-44.

Meanwhile, North Lamar hadn't done well against Paris recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. North Lamar managed a 52-46 win over Paris. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Wildcats are ranked 217th).

North Lamar has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Bonham, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Bonham might still be hurting after the 50-28 loss they got from North Lamar in their previous matchup back in December of 2016. Can Bonham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
