Klawock extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lea Armour. The Klawock Chieftains took down the Kake Thunderbirds 33-18 on Thursday with plenty of help from Armour, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Another player making a difference was Keira Sanderson, who earned five points and 12 rebounds. She has become a key player for Klawock: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least ten boards, but 10-12 otherwise.

The victory got Klawock back to even at 13-13. As for Kake, they moved to 7-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Klawock has already played their next contest, a 34-33 win against Hoonah on the 28th. Kake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
