Abington Heights had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. Everything went their way against the South Williamsport Mountaineers as they made off with an 11-3 victory. Considering the Comets have won 11 matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Abington Heights' win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for South Williamsport, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
