Saegertown took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Seneca Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Saegertown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-14.

This is the second loss in a row for Seneca and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Saegertown has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Erie on the 6th. As for Seneca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Union City on the 4th.
