Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southeastern Jungaleers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jungaleers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Southeastern, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13.

Madison has already played their next game (against Clawson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 70-30 loss against King on the 28th.
