Soccer Recap: South Tama County Takes a Loss

South Tama County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings. That's two games in a row now that South Tama County have lost by exactly ten goals.

South Tama County's loss dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Vinton-Shellsburg, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-6-1.

Looking ahead, South Tama County will take on Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Benton's last six contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Vinton-Shellsburg, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against East Marshall on the 28th.
