Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans vs. Lower Merion Aces

The Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans will square off against the Lower Merion Aces at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, it was close, but Valley Forge Military Academy sidestepped Marple Newtown for a 3-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Lower Merion had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Ridley 3-0 on Monday.

While Lower Merion won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-22.

Lower Merion found their leader in sophomore Keira Li, who had 14 digs and two assists.

The win got Valley Forge Military Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Lower Merion, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
