Softball Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

Centennial is 1-9 against Roosevelt since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Centennial will be strutting in after a victory while Roosevelt will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Centennial needed a bit of extra time to put away Burroughs. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bears, sneaking past 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt didn't have quite enough to beat Los Altos on Friday and fell 4-3.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Centennial suffered a grim 19-10 defeat to Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
