Waconia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 51-34 win over the Shakopee Sabers. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Waconia's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Waconia will take on Eden Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shakopee, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakeville North at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026.
