Soccer Recap: Stanhope Elmore Comes Up Short

Stanhope Elmore came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors, falling 10-1.

Stanhope Elmore's loss dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stanhope Elmore will square off against Tuscaloosa Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will face off against Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee-Scott Academy are facing Valley at the right time seeing as Valley are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
