Basketball Game Preview: Prentice Buccaneers vs. Phillips Loggers

Phillips will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Prentice extended their winning streak to four on Monday. The Buccaneers blew past Abbotsford 94-54. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phillips). They put the hurt on Chequamegon with a sharp 99-76 win on Monday. The Loggers haven't had any issues with the Screaming Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Prentice's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Phillips, their victory bumped their record up to 6-17.

Everything came up roses for Prentice against Phillips in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 101-59 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
