Soccer Recap: East Henderson Comes Up Short

East Henderson managed to keep up with Hendersonville until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Bearcats. While losing is never fun, East Henderson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Hendersonville are ranked 61st).

East Henderson's goal came courtesy of Maddie Carver, who's now up to four this season.

East Henderson is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-2. As for Hendersonville, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
