Baseball Recap: Prince of Peace Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pantego Christian, Prince of Peace was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes Storm by a score of 7-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 back in February.

Prince of Peace has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes and nudges their season record down to 8-5-1.

Looking ahead, Prince of Peace will challenge Pantego Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pantego Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Prince of Peace's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against HCYA on the 22nd.
