Chancellor posted their closest win since October 17, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Louisa County Lions 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Tuesday.

Chancellor was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-9, 12-25, 25-15, 15-10.

Hailey Garcia paced Chancellor's offense, picking up 15 kills. Garcia got some help from Aiden Jolly and her 32 assists. Keely Kwiatkowski controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chancellor has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Louisa County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Chancellor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Stafford on the 8th. As for Louisa County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Spotsylvania on the 4th.
