Softball Recap: McKenzie Comes Up Short

McKenzie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-0 to the Waverly Central Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

McKenzie's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Waverly Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

McKenzie will challenge Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. Waverly Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
