Soccer Game Preview: Rock Hill vs. Gallia Academy

Rock Hill hasn't had much luck against Gallia Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Redmen will face off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rock Hill's offense. They fell just short of Ironton by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Chesapeake typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Gallia Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for Gallia Academy, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Gallia Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season.

Rock Hill might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Gallia Academy in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Redmen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
