Volleyball Recap: Community Christian Starts off Right with Win over Jefferson County + How To Watch

Community Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Jefferson County Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Community Christian was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-9.

Avea Casperson paced Community Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Casperson got some help from Sarah Bradley and her 12 assists. Bradley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 15 aces.

Community Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Community Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson County, they will venture away from home to challenge Munroe at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
